What is the Freshworks Partner Conference?

Freshworks Partner Conference is an invite-only annual event, organized by the Freshworks team, and attended by our partners across the world. This is our 4th conference in a row and we’re looking to make it more inspiring and relevant for our global partners. This is your chance to network with peers and the Freshworks leadership team, learn more at workshops and sessions, and discover the unlimited potential of our mutual partnership.

Will all my questions be answered at the event?

Yes, all your questions will be answered at the conference.

Will there be opportunities for one-on-one sessions?

Ofcourse! There will be several opportunities for informal one-on-one sessions. For more offline sessions, join us on 12 March at the Freshworks office in Chennai.

Can I register for someone else?

Sure! You can register on behalf of your colleagues from your company. Please note that the conference is an invite-only event so you will not be able to extend the invite to peers from other companies who are not part of the Freshworks partner network and invited to the conference.

Will the event be live-streamed?

No, we are not planning to live-stream the event.

Will there be opportunities for me to build and strengthen my business network?

Yes, there will be several opportunities to network with peers and the Freshworks team. We strongly encourage attendees to get to know peers to understand best practices and market hacks. You will also be able to learn how other partners leverage the Freshworks suite in their business endeavours.

What time should I reach the venue?

The timings for each day can be found in the detailed agenda. In order to ensure you maximize the takeaways from the conference, we would recommend you join us for the entire day during the duration of the conference.

What is the recommended attire for the conference?

For Day 1 of the conference, we’d suggest you wear business casuals. For the rest of the days, casuals are okay.

What is the Gala Dinner?

The Gala Dinner is an informal networking dinner that will be held at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai after the official sessions in the Freshworks office on Day 1. The event will be attended by the Freshworks global partners, leadership team, partner team, and other employees who work closely with the partners.

Will meals be provided at the conference?

Lunch will be provided at the Freshworks Partner Conference. There will also be refreshment breaks between sessions.

What essentials should I pack for my visit?

• Comfortable cotton clothing for the weather in Chennai. If you are visiting cities in Northern India, make sure to pack a jacket
• Evening wear for the Gala Dinner on Day 1. (Not a black-tie event)
• Important documents (if traveling on Business Visa) such as invitation letter
• Adapter pertaining to Indian standards

What is the weather like in Chennai in March?

For most of the year the weather is hot and humid in Chennai.

Any other suggestions for a comfortable stay and travel?

• Stay hydrated with some sweet tender coconut water
• Use the prepaid taxi counters at airports or better still, take an Uber or Ola
• Avoid strolling on the streets after dark, take a cab
• Do not drink water from the taps. Stick to bottled water
• Avoid street food – it’s generally too oily and spicy
• Smoking in public places is illegal in Chennai
• Keep some emergency numbers handy (on a piece of paper) with you at all times, especially that of your channel manager’s

How can I get an invitation letter for business visa?

You can receive an official invitation letter from Freshworks by filling out this form. Please note that requesting a visa invitation letter does not guarantee that your local authorities will grant a visa to attend the Freshworks Partner Conference. Additionally, you are responsible for submitting your visa application to your local embassy/consulate; conference management will not submit the application on your behalf.

How will I reach the conference venue?

Shuttle transfers are included in the hotel packages recommended by Freshworks, unless stated otherwise. If you are staying at a hotel not recommended by Freshworks, you’ll need to book an Ola/Uber cab to reach the venue. If you are flying in on the day of the conference, please take a pre-paid taxi or book an Ola/Uber cab from the airport to the Freshworks office.
